How Will You Heal Me? | Revive Healing Clinic | The Reiki & Crystal Energy Healer
An honest conversation about Reiki, crystal healing, reflexology and making space for yourself.
31st October 2026
It started with a group of women and a paint and sip evening. There had been creative energy, laughter, a few drinks, and plenty of conversation, followed by a visit to the pub.
As often happens when people discover what I do, the conversation became more personal. Someone began sharing how much she was carrying: family responsibilities, running a business and feeling there wasn’t quite enough support to go around.
I’ve kept the personal details private, but the feeling behind that conversation will be familiar to many of us.
Being needed by everyone. Keeping things moving. Wondering where your own needs fit, and where your energy has gone. I gave her my card. A friend who is also a client was with me, so when I went to the bar, I left them chatting. When I returned, she asked:
“How can you heal me?”
It was a fair question... When your business is called Revive Healing, you need to be able to explain what that means.
My honest answer
I cannot promise to heal you, cure a condition or change the circumstances that are making life difficult.
What I can offer is dedicated time for you: a welcoming space, a listening ear and a complementary therapy session with your comfort at its heart.
I can give you the space you need to allow your body to rest, your mind to quieten, your heart calm and your soul to breathe.
After years in the corporate world, I understand how easily self-care can slip to the bottom of the list. You keep going because there is always something else to do, somewhere (or someone) else you need to focus your energy on.
Having time when nothing is expected of you can feel unfamiliar. It can also be something you deeply value.
That is the starting point for my work at Revive Healing Clinic.
So if you are asking yourself "Where can I find Reiki or crystal healing near me?" or you want to try reflexology first, grab a cuppa and take 5 to read a bit more about it.
Reiki healing: time to become quiet
Reiki is a practice originating in Japan, traditionally understood as working with energy. That understanding is part of its spiritual foundations; it should not be confused with a medically established explanation of how the body works.
During a session, you remain fully clothed while I position my hands gently above your body.
The session offers a quiet, meditative experience. You do not have to hold a conversation, achieve anything or produce a particular response.
Reiki energy can be an opportunity for deep relaxation, spiritual reflection and a greater sense of personal wellbeing. Experiences vary, and feeling a particular sensation is not a test of whether you have received the session “properly”.
I do not use Reiki Healing to diagnose illness or promise physical healing.
Crystal healing: a reflective ritual
Crystal healing uses crystals within a practice based on spiritual beliefs about energy and balance. Crystal healers believe that each crystal has a vibrational energy that when laid on the body supports the healing response.
During a session, crystals may be placed on or around your clothed body. I explain what is involved so you can decide what feels comfortable and we can adapt things specifically for you.
For someone drawn to crystals, their colours, natural beauty and symbolism can provide a focus for quiet reflection. The appointment creates time to pause in a peaceful setting.
I keep the distinction clear: the spiritual meanings associated with crystals are beliefs, rather than established medical mechanisms. Although, I have to point out that crystals are in use in our everyday lives; they are in your watch, your phone, your laptop, your TV, your microwave... the list goes on. There is no robust clinical evidence establishing that crystals treat medical conditions. The experience is unique to everyone.
You do not need to expect a dramatic experience. You are welcome to approach the session with curiosity and decide whether this style of self-care appeals to you.
Reflexology: supportive touch and relaxation
Reflexology is a hands-on complementary therapy involving pressure techniques applied to areas of the feet.
It is based on the theory that particular reflex areas correspond with different parts of the body. This is the framework of the practice; it does not allow me to diagnose a health problem through your feet.
Before treatment, we discuss your health history, comfort and whether the session is suitable for you.
Many people find the hands-on nature of reflexology relaxing. It can support a sense of wellbeing, improve mood and aid restful sleep, although individual responses differ.
For someone who spends much of their time looking after others, the simple experience of receiving attentive, supportive touch can be especially welcome.
Reflexology does not replace medical assessment or treatment.
Reflexology: ancient associations, modern practice
The idea of caring for wellbeing through the hands and feet has a long history. An Egyptian tomb scene at Saqqara, dating back more than 4,000 years, is often linked with reflexology because it depicts people attending to hands and feet. Although fascinating, it does not confirm that the Egyptians practised reflexology as we know it today.
Modern Western reflexology developed in the early twentieth century through Dr William Fitzgerald’s “zone therapy”. In the 1930s, Eunice Ingham developed the detailed foot maps and techniques that helped shape today’s practice. Reflexology subsequently grew in Britain during the 1960s, with Doreen Bayly among its important pioneers. (Source: https://www.intfedreflexologists.org/)
It is a practice with an interesting history, but its age alone does not establish its medical effectiveness. In my work, the focus remains on relaxation, supportive touch and your individual experience of wellbeing.
And what about everything you are carrying?
A therapy appointment cannot redistribute the housework, look after your kids or as in many cases, your parents. It can't make someone understand you or remove the demands of running a business, and it can't deal with a demanding boss.
Those concerns deserve attention in their own right. You should never feel that managing everything is simply a matter of booking more treatments or trying harder at self-care. It shouldn't be that hard; find what you need and search for "Energy, Crystal or Reiki Healing near me" or Reflexology, or a sports massage - if that's what you need and book time for yourself.
If you are experiencing possible perimenopausal symptoms, persistent exhaustion, pain or changes in your physical or mental health, speak with your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Complementary therapies can sit alongside appropriate healthcare; they should not delay it.
Within my role, I can listen without judgement, explain your options and offer a session focused on relaxation and wellbeing. You decide whether it feels right for you.
Samhain: a seasonal invitation to slow down
As I share this on Halloween, it feels fitting to reflect on Samhain, the Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter.
Traditionally, this turning point was associated with gathering together, protecting the home and remembering those who had died. In folklore and spiritual traditions, it is also a time when the boundary between our world and the spirit world is believed to be more open. For me, this seasonal shift offers an invitation to reflect on what we are carrying and how we might care for ourselves through the darker months. The connection I draw with rest and healing is a personal reflection, rather than a claim that Samhain was a festival of modern healing therapies.
As the evenings draw in, perhaps we can make room for quieter moments: a comforting meal, an earlier night, a warm bath, candle light, remembering someone we love or spending time away from the demands of a screen.
Healing, in this personal sense, need not mean fixing everything. It might mean acknowledging that life has been demanding and giving yourself permission to receive care.
As nature changes pace, what would it look like to give yourself a little breathing space, too?

You do not have to reach breaking point to take a break
Perhaps the real question behind “How can you heal me?” is:
“Can I have somewhere to stop for a while?” and "Can I make time for me?"
My answer to that is yes, you do not have to wait for permission to put yourself first.
At Revive Healing, you are welcome to ask questions, tell me your preferences and take things at your own pace. There is no promised transformation and no expectation that you must feel a certain way afterwards.
There is simply time set aside for you.
